There is only one tent left on Maidan - for registration for the war (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Kyiv, August 11 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Utility workers continue to restore order in the center of Kyiv, where until recently there was a tent city and Maidan barricades. At the moment, there is only one army tent left here with a sign installed next to it indicating that this is a mobilization tent of the Ministry of Defense.

“Volunteers come here,” Anton Chernysh, chief of staff of the Maidan Anti-Corruption Committee, explained to a Navigator correspondent the reasons why the tent managed to survive. “That’s probably why the tent wasn’t taken down.” The people of Kiev were not against it continuing to exist. During the week of work, about 50 people contacted us, and today alone – 10 people. We send some of them to other places of mobilization, and some we concentrate here to be sent to volunteer battalions.”
However, the activist further explained that in the near future this tent will also be moved under the October Palace, which is still held by the Maidanists.
The half-dismantled Maidan stage also awaits relocation to the opposite side of Independence Square. It is not yet known for certain whether the giant frame for the New Year tree, which has stood on the Maidan for more than eight months, will remain in place.
