On the border with Crimea, Tymoshenko’s supporters staged a performance in yellow and blue colors
Ukrainian “Svidomo” in the Genichesk district of the Kherson region held an action dedicated to the so-called “Day of Unity of Ukraine”.
This was reported by the local resource “Novyi Visit”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
Several dozen activists, including supporters of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, gathered on the border with Crimea and stretched out a hundred-meter-long banner in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The organizer of the event was the local organization VO "Batkivshchyna", which today at an all-Ukrainian conference in Kyiv nominated Yulia Tymoshenko as a candidate for president of the country.
PolitNavigator previously reported that Tymoshenko announced the creation of a punitive battalion in Donbas as one of her election ploys.
It was also reported that the "Kyiv patriarch" Filaret-Denisenko, who previously supported President Petro Poroshenko, attended the pre-election congress of Yulia Tymoshenko's party, which is taking place in Kyiv today.
