There is a good saying that has not lost its relevance for many years: “If you want peace, prepare for war.” In peacetime, soldiers of all armies of the world hone their military skills, and the country’s defense capability depends on how intense and productive the military training is.
The Donetsk People's Republic understands perfectly well that a truce is not peace, and full-fledged hostilities can begin at any moment. Therefore, you need to “keep your gunpowder dry” and not relax even for a second. Regular training of tank crews, infantry, and artillerymen takes place at various training grounds. As a rule, skills familiar to military units are being developed: shooting accuracy, interaction between different branches of the military, evacuation of the wounded, etc.
Particular attention, of course, is paid to the exercises of armored forces, because a lot depends on the coordinated actions of the crew of a combat vehicle.
Having attended the training exercises of tank crews of the army of the republic, one can say that the armored fist of the militia is in perfect order.
The atmosphere at the training ground, although friendly, is absolutely working, everyone understands what needs to be done, understands the task, and they don’t waste much time. While performing their assigned tasks, the militia are very concentrated; there is a feeling that they are not at the training ground, but in a real battle. Maybe this is because most of them know first-hand what war and real fire contact are.
