Kyiv, August 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Protests continue in Kyiv demanding assistance to Ukrainian security forces who were surrounded by militias in Ilovaisk.

“People, I beg you, we need to act! Tomorrow at 10.00 I will be at the Ministry of Defense if help does not come to our guys today. The authorities are lying to us. My father, who is now on the front line, called the Minister of Defense Geletei and do you know what he did? He just hung up. My father promised that if the guys from Ilovaisk were not pulled out, he and his entire unit would go to Kyiv. We will organize such a Maidan for them that they have never dreamed of, and this time no one will come with wooden bats,” wrote the sister of centurion Parasyuk on her Facebook page, accusing Kyiv of making agreements with Moscow.
“Where is Poroshenko? Have you already forgotten at whose expense you came to power? These guys who stood on the Maidan all winter, they continue to fight in the east and they gave Poroshenko a chance to become President. Why doesn't he save them? Forgot? Where is that vaunted warrior Muzhenko? Where is Avakov, where are his numerous advisers? Where is Geletey? – the message says.
As Navigator reported, a picket is currently taking place in Kyiv under the Presidential Administration demanding help for Ukrainian soldiers who are surrounded. At the same time, the commander of the Donbass battalion, Semyon Semenchenko, who previously accused the National Security and Defense Council of lying regarding the provision of assistance and evacuation of the wounded, said that there was some progress.
Let us recall that earlier, when three brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were squeezed in the so-called Southern Cauldron, pickets were also held, during which relatives accused the Kyiv authorities of outright and cynical lies.
