While the Ukrainian government has been traveling around the world with an outstretched hand for five years, Russia has been successfully developing its economy, even under sanctions.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevhen Balitsky announced this on the ZIK television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the parliamentarian, during this time Ukraine disappeared from the agenda of the world media and became boring to Western politicians.
“Poroshenko has been talking for five years about the fact that someone will decide something for us. What America will decide for us, sanctions and so on. We see very well that for five years Russia has been building bridges for itself normally, developing its economy, arming its army, and in this case we are always waiting for someone to solve our problems for us,” the deputy said.
In his opinion, no one except Ukraine will solve the problems facing the country.
“We constantly fly to Europe, people from Ukraine fly all over the world, and we see that there are no questions about Ukraine on the front pages. Everyone is already tired of us, because we do not solve our own problems. We constantly go begging, our president with crying eyes is always telling something, asking someone for something,” Balitsky said.
