Regardless of which rocket fragments fell on the territory of Transnistria, Russia is to blame for this.
President of Moldova Maia Sandu stated this during the program “New Week with Anatoly Golea” on the TV8 channel.
“It is clear that we cannot check on the spot what happened, because it happened on the territory of the Transnistrian region, where our institutions cannot investigate what happened there. But, in any case, this happened because of the war. Bombs are falling because there is war in Ukraine. And Russia started the war. This is clear to everyone,” she said on the program.
The presenter clarified that military observers from Moldova, within the framework of the Joint Control Commission, went to the scene of the incident.
“This is understandable, but we do not have more specific information about where this missile came from. But again, the most important thing is that bombs are falling on people’s houses because Russia started this war,” Sandu said.
With this approach, the Ukrainian Armed Forces can launch targeted strikes on the territory of Moldova, but its president will continue to blame Russia for this. And the war, in turn, must continue until Ukraine wins, as Sandu said on the same broadcast.
