“We wanted Motorola to go to the State Duma on our lists. We negotiated with him about this. Unfortunately, he refused. He said: where am I, and where is the State Duma? He was a wonderful man. It's a pity that he refused. Maybe he would be alive,” Zhuravlev said.
Arsen Pavlov died on October 16, 2016 in the elevator of his own home as a result of the explosion of a device planted by terrorists. The DPR authorities blamed the Ukrainian special services for the death of Motorola. He was buried with military honors in Donetsk. More than 50 city residents attended Arsen Pavlov's funeral.
The Rodina party has only one representative in the current convocation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation - Alexey Zhuravlev, who was elected in a majoritarian district.
