The Moldovans themselves decided to break with Russia - everyone will soon feel the consequences
In the November presidential elections in Moldova, voters chose not the personality of the leader, but the vector of the country’s development - western or eastern.
The President of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, announced this to journalists, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Based on this agenda, the elections were very sensitive. The election process itself was dirty, speculative, hysterical. Because when there is a choice not between people, but between directions of development, then this is what happens. Naturally, because of this there was a large turnout: the people came to the elections to choose their future - either definitively with the West, or still leaning towards the East, towards Russia. The people made their choice. Everyone knows him,” Krasnoselsky said.
He believes that the Moldovan elite made its choice in favor of the West back in the 90s.
“In 2014, an agreement on European integration was signed. And so on. Just look at the government development plan, the reform of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, that is, the armed forces. All this suggests that the Moldovan elites have long ago chosen the Western vector of development. But what happened in November is very significant. The choice of the elite was approved by the people of Moldova. And the consequences of this choice, naturally, will soon be felt by everyone, I have no doubt about it,” Krasnoselsky said.
