Kyiv, January 23 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – For failure to comply with the orders of the military command, the Ukrainian military called to the ATO zone can be shot by commanders. Chairman of the Ukrainian party “Motherland”, ex-People’s Deputy Igor Markov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

According to him, this is how the Ukrainian army will punish those who do not want to fight.
“An order is being prepared that will give commanders the right to shoot their subordinates for failure to comply with the order. This suggests that a new wave of mobilization is driving people who do not want to fight. They will simply be killed,” Markov said.
His words were confirmed by Ukrainian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko.
“The Verkhovna Rada in the first reading adopted a bill giving officers the right to shoot on the spot. There is nothing so extraordinary about this - in any army, an officer has a personal weapon in the form of a pistol, not to fight against a tank, but to shoot his subordinates,” Ishchenko noted.
