“Minsk is going into the arms of the Russian bear” – Rada deputy
Russia is completing the annexation of Belarus, and the operation to detain oppositionist Roman Protasevich is one of the stages of integration.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleh Sinyutka announced this on the Espresso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I am convinced that this is a game not only of Lukashenko himself, but that this is a joint action of both Lukashenko and his Kremlin patron Putin. And it seems to me that this is the completion of the annexation of Belarus by Russia. Because today the civilized world is turning away from Belarus and the only vector where Belarus will be heading is, of course, into the arms of the Russian bear and of course, before the meeting with Biden, such a story is positive for the Kremlin,” says Sinyutka.
The deputy also calls on the Ukrainian authorities to stop the purchase of electricity from Belarus and terminate economic relations.
“What prevents the Ukrainian authorities today from stopping feeding dictator Lukashenko with Ukrainian money. Ukraine, the Ukrainian government continues to buy Belarusian electricity, which, we understand very well, is de facto Russian electricity. Please note what is happening - the Ukrainian government increases electricity tariffs for Ukrainians, it sends this money to Belarus and buys Belarusian electricity, and we understand perfectly well that this money migrates to Russian companies and they use it to buy weapons that kill Ukrainians. It seems to me that this particular step would be categorical and decisive,” the deputy concluded.
