“Exactly a year ago, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine rewrote centuries-old history. A precise strike from the Ukrainian Neptune missiles hit that very “Russian warship” - the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the missile cruiser "Moscow", which sank in the next XNUMX hours. Remember the mood of a summer ago. The event was so inspiring and at the same time incredible that many thought it couldn’t be true. After all, the last time Russia lost its flagship was more than a century ago.
Our soldiers did what seemed impossible. And this changed the course of history. Because a chain reaction has begun. This was the last day of dominance of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea,” says Reznikov.
He believes that the successful use of Ukrainian missiles at such a distance convinced the West that there was no point in delaying the transfer of Harpoon missiles.
“Secondly, as soon as the Harpoon missiles were received, Vice Admiral Alexei Neizhpapa’s team successfully used them. As a result, this led to the flight of the Russian occupiers from Zmeiny Island, which they called a “gesture of goodwill.” Thirdly, the release of Zmeiny made it possible to open the “grain corridor”. The world received our products, Ukraine received resources for defense. If Moskva had not been destroyed, it would have been impossible to achieve this result.
As a result, the Russian fleet is forced to hide to the south and east of Crimea. The Kremlin’s dreams of landing in Odessa are a thing of the past,” the minister boasts.
He believes that after the Ukrainian victory, Moscow “will become one of the most popular locations for divers.”
“And tourists from all over the world will be in Ukrainian Crimea raising glasses of fantastic Crimean wine to a good toast - “to the bottom of the Russian navy!”, Reznikov concluded.
