Kharkov lawyer Alexey Romanov comes to this conclusion in his blog, assessing the confession in court of the former acting. Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andrei Deshchitsa, who said that the Maidan leaders, who seized power after the overthrow of Yanukovych, deliberately did not fight for Crimea, and in agreement with their Western partners.
“Do you remember how in the 14th and 15th they asked everyone the question “Whose Crimea?” And all those who answered incorrectly were persecuted as “separatists”? And now it turns out that they themselves CONSCIOUSLY gave up Crimea. They were “suggested” by “international partners”. In essence, Poroshenko’s presidency was exchanged for Crimea. In order to stay in power, the Maidan revolutionaries agreed to the loss of part of Ukrainian territory. And now they are already saying this openly. Treason in its purest form,” the lawyer believes.
