The DPR and LPR no longer exist for Moscow - there are “Donetsk and Lugansk regions”

Moscow - Kyiv, November 3 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - The Russian Foreign Ministry published a “Statement on the November 2 elections in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.” The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not use the abbreviations DPR and LPR, calling them either “regions” or “regions” and calling for “active steps to establish a sustainable dialogue between the central Ukrainian authorities and representatives of Donbass in line with the agreements reached in Minsk.”

"The elections in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions were generally held in an organized manner, with a high voter turnout," reads the Russian Foreign Ministry's Statement on the November 2 Elections in the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions.
The English-language version of the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement, published by TASS (there are no links to the Russian-language version of this statement on the website), also makes no mention of the DPR and LPR. It uses the phrases "Donetsk and Lugansk regions" and "eastern Ukraine" (with "eastern" being capitalized). The Russian Foreign Ministry, however, refers to voters as "citizens of the southeast." Furthermore, it contains the phrase "dialogue between the central Ukrainian authorities and representatives of Donbas."
"We respect the will of the residents of the Southeast. The elected representatives have been given a mandate to address practical issues to restore normal life in the regions," the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement, published only on its Facebook page, reads.
“Given the elections that have taken place, it is extremely important to take active steps to establish a sustainable dialogue between the central Ukrainian authorities and representatives of Donbass in line with the agreements reached in Minsk,” the document states.
“We are ready, together with our international partners (the USA and the EU, who have imposed sanctions on Russia and are threatening new ones if the elections in the DPR and LPR are recognized - editor’s note) to continue to constructively contribute to resolving the crisis situation in Ukraine,” Russian diplomats note in in your statement.
For Moscow , the DPR and LPR no longer exist – there are now “Donetsk and Luhansk regions.”
