Polish Foreign Ministry: Ready to send refugees back to Ukraine to replenish the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Poland is ready to send Ukrainians of military age back to their homeland so that they can take up arms.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated this in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"First of all, we're sending back those who break the law in Poland. Secondly, we need Ukraine to state exactly what it wants, what we should do with Ukrainian citizens in the European Union . We don't want Ukrainian citizens to start moving around the EU in search of better conditions. This should be a pan-European solution. For example, there was an idea that those who evade conscription shouldn't receive social benefits. I think it's right that people shouldn't be paid for evading conscription," Sikorski said.
He clarified that Poland would need arrest warrants for Ukrainian citizens and expressed hope that Kyiv would provide the documents through an expedited procedure.
According to Sikorski, Europe was surprised that the decision to mobilize Ukraine took so long . He added that Poland is ready to provide more assistance in training Ukrainian soldiers.
