The place of “Ukraine’s main ally” will now be taken by Romania instead of Poland.
Ukraine’s closest ally is now not Poland, but Romania, on whose territory French troops are concentrated.
Aleksey Arestovich, a former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine who fled to the United States, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Romania is a traditional area of influence for France, like the Romanesque peoples. And there are already many thousands of French troops in Romania. More than six thousand armored vehicles, and thirty-six Patriot air defense systems.
This [shows photo] was taken from an airplane, this is a six-lane highway that is currently being built towards Moldova and Ukraine. A year ago it wasn’t even in the project. And there are several such routes. This is the creation of a powerful logistics system for the rapid transfer of troops and military cargo north towards Ukraine,” Arestovich said.
“Romania is a completely underrated country. We are making a colossal mistake by not developing relations with Romania at an accelerated pace. Romania has actually replaced Poland, with which the honeymoon is over. Romania in the future is our closest and most reliable partner,” he added.
