They will fly less to the Russian Federation - “servants” are happy with the ban on air traffic with Belarus
After the cessation of air traffic with Belarus, Kyiv hopes to switch air traffic through Belarusian territory to its airspace.
The head of the Servant of the People party, Alexander Kornienko, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Public”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“For a long time, Belarus was a buffer for aviation contact with the Russian Federation. Thus [by stopping flights], we are actually killing two birds with one stone. We stop flights that are not always useful, as we now see from the investigation into Mr. Medvedchuk, that it always took place through Belarus in the first place, and direct our routes of aviation companies further (UIA stated that they did not fly to Belarus, but our other partners companies). And, of course, to guarantee, for our part, those global airlines that will now fly through Ukraine that everything will be fine with us in this situation,” Kornienko said.
