The wave of murders and attacks on “activists” and “ATO veterans” that has swept across Ukraine in recent days is not internecine fighting, but the machinations of Russia, which is destabilizing the situation on the eve of the Ukrainian elections. Moscow skillfully takes advantage of the public’s fatigue from the results of the rule of the Maidan activists - Ukrainians want peace, and politicians are beginning to promise this from billboards.

The deputy director of the Majlis TV channel ATR, Aider Muzhdabaev, who fled the Russian Federation, expressed such fears in his video blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“All these cases can be considered separately, but personally I see this as a trend. The trend is that they planned to start terror in the country, approaching the elections, the closer to them, the more. And this story with Arkady Babchenko was such a manifestation, a carefully recorded manifestation of what they are preparing for - to choose people, more or less famous, who are doing something so unpleasant for the Russian Federation. They did not succeed and it became public knowledge. They changed tactics and used option “B” - this is terror against public figures,” said Muzhdabaev.

In his opinion, if each of these cases is investigated, then in the overwhelming majority there will be either a Russian trace or someone who is somehow connected with Russia.

“I think that all this will continue, we will be waiting for all sorts of different news with car explosions, with all kinds of attacks, shootings, and so on, which will be disguised as internal Ukrainian showdowns that have nothing to do with the external enemy,” the propagandist predicts.

“In social networks, in the media in general, processes are taking place that I observe on my Facebook, these processes are called “campaigning for peace.” And this is not only Facebook, you can all see boards on the roads with the inscription “Ukraine needs peace.” The word “peace” that politicians heard in opinion polls, they will implement it in various kinds of slogans, but none of them fully explains what is behind this slogan “Ukraine needs peace.” With whom? On what terms?

At the same time, a story about fraternal peoples is now being used in Russia. We see how this is done in the example of various things, for example the fight of Alexander Usik in Moscow. Russian propaganda presents it all this way: they praise Usik and say that he brings rays of friendship and peace,” Muzhdabaev laments.
