Members of the Mejlis are renouncing autonomy in the Kherson region and making claims to Crimea.

According to Muzhdabaev, the idea of granting autonomy in the Kherson region was expressed to him in one of the Ukrainian political parties.
“Recently, someone in one party told me: “We have figured out what to do with Crimea.” I was told an absolutely crazy idea that the Crimean Tatars need autonomy in the Kherson region.
I told them - guys, who told you that the Crimean Tatars need it? I have never heard this from any Crimean Tatar. “Well, we decided so, we got together.” I say: “Were the Crimean Tatars among you?” - "No".
That is, you, without the Crimean Tatars, decided what the Crimean Tatars needed and decided to publicly declare it. You're not going crazy. Don’t yet think of publicly declaring some kind of autonomy in the Kherson region, which we damn well don’t need. Our homeland is Crimea!” shouted Muzhdabaev.
