“I appreciate that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry monitors my movements around the country and is interested in the development of Russian Crimea. I think the Russian Foreign Ministry can also comment on the trips of the Ukrainian leadership to the Lviv or Kharkov regions,” the prime minister wrote on his Facebook page.
Let us recall that on April 27, during his trip to the Crimean Federal District, Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting with deputy prime ministers in Simferopol.
On Thursday, at a briefing in Kiev, the official representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Yevgeny Perebiynis, said that the ministry sent a note of protest demanding “to stop the practice of such visits by Russian officials to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as to urgently explain the reasons for such actions by the Russian side.”
