Medvedchuk spoke about Lukashenko’s duplicity
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated in a personal conversation at the beginning of March that Vladimir Zelensky would win the presidential election, although he publicly assured that Petro Poroshenko had the highest chance of winning.
This was stated on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel by Viktor Medvedchuk, the Ukrainian representative at the negotiations on the fate of Donbass in Minsk, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Regarding Mr. Lukashenko, with whom I met in early April, I then said in an interview that he was the only one who, somewhere in early March (think about it!), said that Poroshenko and Zelensky would go to the second round.
I want to tell you that if you remember March 1st and raise the press, none of the politicians, political scientists and experts could have predicted that it would be like this. He said this with confidence. And by the way, I stated this later.
