Mothers and wives of soldiers who were surrounded knelt before Poroshenko (VIDEO)
Kyiv, July 25 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – On Friday in Kyiv, near the administration of Petro Poroshenko, a rally was held by mothers and wives of military personnel participating in the military operation in Donbass to suppress pro-Russian rebels.
The women cried and knelt down. They signed and submitted an appeal to the President of Ukraine.

“We, the mothers and wives of ATO participants, appeal to you with the demand to establish peace through negotiations between all parties to the conflict and the involvement of the EU countries and America. Today, Ukrainian troops are suffering serious losses, the equipment that was sent to the anti-terrorist operation zone is broken, and the human costs are staggering... Women demand an end to the war, which is aimed at destroying Ukraine and its people!” – says the appeal signed by the participants of the rally.
The appeal also contains demands to urgently remove children from encirclement, immediately strengthen troops in the ATO zone, reduce the power vertical and allow local commanders to make operational decisions, appoint commanders from among Afghan officers who have command experience, ensure replenishment of standard military equipment with specialists and spare parts , expand the transport corridor and immediately ensure full supplies, removal of the wounded, and rotation of personnel.
The rally participants held posters: “Mr. President! What would you do if your child were in my son’s place?”, “SOS! Save the 72nd Brigade!”, “Deputies and generals to the front in the trenches”, “Gorlovka. Release 17 prisoners”, “President, we demand a meeting for 5 minutes”, “Return sons to mothers, husbands to wives, fathers to children.”
Some women have been under the presidential administration for several days.
