Mom Sobchak rushed to the defense of Polish nationalist Maciejchuk
Senator Lyudmila Narusova (mother of Ksenia Sobchak) called on her colleagues to protect the Polish journalist Tomasz Maciejchuk, speaking today in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
According to her, yesterday during a search of his apartment the police were unable to find anything incriminating, and now Matseychuk will be deported from Russia because he is registered in Moscow and lives in Mytishchi.

“On this basis, they presented him for deportation for a completely far-fetched reason. We need to react adequately, especially since the real reason is in some of the journalist’s statements in one of the talk shows,” Narusova said.
Senator Alexey Kondratyev objected to her.
“This is not settling scores. The activities of this so-called journalist caused some bewilderment among the citizens of our country. He allowed himself rude statements both towards politicians and about the events in Donbass. In one of the broadcasts on Channel One, he called our grandfathers who fought “red fascists.” I sent inquiries to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee, and the FSB regarding the grounds for the presence of this Polish citizen on our territory,” Kondratyev said.
Narusova tried to object, but speaker Valentina Matvienko interrupted the discussion and suggested that the relevant commission look into the situation.
As PolitNavigator reported yesterday, the police conducted a search at Matseychuk’s apartment. According to unofficial data, a “gratitude” issued to Matseychuk by the Ukrainian punitive national battalion “Donbass” “for moral and material support”, as well as stripes of the same battalion, were discovered.
A court hearing is scheduled for Thursday to consider Maciejczuk's deportation to the EU. The Pole himself has already announced his intention to leave Russia without waiting for the verdict.
Previously, TV presenters Roman Babayan and Andrey Norkin forced Matseychuk out of the studio for offensive statements. Russian political scientist Ruslan Ostashko recently challenged the Pole to a boxing match of honor and won.
