Macron promised to give Ukraine cruise missiles, howitzers and air bombs
France will sign a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine similar to the one concluded by Britain.
French President Emmanuel Macron stated this while answering journalists' questions, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We are finalizing work on such an agreement, which will be signed in the coming weeks, bilateral, truly allowing for elements of guarantees. We are going to make new deliveries - about 40 SCALP missiles and several hundred bombs that our Ukrainian friends are expecting,” the French President said.
“We have also expanded production within the war economy, which will allow us to supply much more equipment to our Ukrainian partners, in particular the Caesars, that they need. And so we will continue to help Ukraine with its training needs in order to stay at the front and protect its skies...
I myself will go to Ukraine in February and announce the completion of these texts. The deliveries of ammunition that I am talking about will begin, and every time we announce ourselves, we do it almost in real time, as you know,” Macron said.
Earlier, the French Foreign Ministry refused to condemn the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the center of Belgorod with cluster munitions, which killed civilians, including children who were at the skating rink near the New Year's tree.
Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev responded by calling the French “scum, bastards, freaks.”
“We never liked the French. Like the paddling pools, they fought with us. And in general, these... p-ry (not pioneers like). And now we are convinced of this. Written by the French Foreign Ministry. A strike on Belgorod using cluster munitions is the “right to self-defense.” Scum. Bastards. Freaks,” Medvedev wrote.
