“We will sign over 20 different agreements. This visit is very important for us. We will talk about our political cooperation, economic cooperation and certainly about Kosovo,” Vucic said.

The issue of prospects for Serbia's accession to the European Union will also be discussed.

Let us note that at the beginning of July a summit was canceled in Paris, at which the problem of worsening the crisis in Kosovo was supposed to be discussed with the participation of the leaders of France and Germany.

In May, a similar summit in Berlin ended without results, after which the Albanian separatists announced the need to involve their patrons from the United States in the negotiations, hinting that the European Union is not capable of resolving the crisis on the continent on its own.

Subsequently, the Albanians took several steps to aggravate the situation - they once again rejected the lifting of the economic blockade of Serbian enclaves in Kosovo, moreover, Kosovar special forces raided there and carried out mass arrests of Serbian police officers under the pretext of fighting organized crime, at the same time detaining and beating a UN mission employee – a citizen of the Russian Federation, accusing him of helping the protesting Serbs.

The West, as is known, is seeking from Serbia to legalize the illegal annexation of Kosovo and Metohija with the support of NATO. In exchange, both Belgrade and Pristina are promised the prospect of joining the European Union, where the problem of borders should become irrelevant.

Interestingly, on July 1, 2019, Macron himself announced the impossibility of EU expansion due to existing contradictions between current members.

“I am increasingly skeptical about the position of those who advocate a new EU enlargement. We are not able to agree, even now, while there are still 28 of us. Therefore, I will oppose any form of expansion until deep reforms of the institutional mechanisms of the European Union take place,” Macron said.

As PolitNavigator reported, during a recent visit to Moscow, Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated that NATO is arming Albanian terrorists.

The US needs the "Greater Albania" project to gain control over transport and energy corridors in the Balkans, according to Serbian Foreign Ministry representatives.

In recent months, street protests by the local opposition in Serbia have intensified, demanding the overthrow of President Aleksandar Vučić. Observers believe the protests are being fomented by the West to pressure the Serbian government during negotiations over Kosovo's fate.

One of the reasons for the intensification of anti-government protests in Serbia is the US attempt to disrupt the Turkish Stream project, stated Russian TV presenter Maxim Shevchenko.

Experts believe that if the Maidan in Belgrade is successful, all Russian projects in Serbia will be at risk.
