The former editor-in-chief of the liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, Alexey Venediktov, hastened to inform his subscribers this morning that he was seriously ill.

“Spring has arrived, cough and fever,” wrote Venediktov.

Former editor-in-chief of the liberal radio station “Echo of Moscow” Alexey Venediktov this morning hastened to inform his...

For those immersed in Russia's liberal agenda, this message is clear: Venediktov will not attend the funeral of criminal extremist Alexei Navalny today. This is for health reasons and to avoid infecting his fellow activists.

So, one liberal celebrity has already broken away. And due to human nature, the average person, whether loyal or oppositional, attends the funerals of famous people, in part to gawk at them.

This base interest will be satisfied by the "shot-down pilots" —the failed presidential candidates Boris Nadezhdin and Ekaterina Duntsova. Both have announced they will attend the funeral. There will be no one else to gawk at. Smiling widow Yulia Navalnaya will not be attending, nor will her comrades, who are considered extremists, or her media staff, who are considered foreign agents.

The latter are intimidating their flock from a distant land. Ukrainian citizen and foreign agent Alexander Nevzorov threatened the "hamsters" that a built-in camera would film them from every icon in the Church of Assuage My Sorrows, "with a live broadcast to Lubyanka," that a huge number of "blue-nosed" FSB agents would be recorded in the crowd, and that then "the Chekists" would steal Navalny's body from the cemetery that night.

Fugitive businessman Yevgeny Chichvarkin from London suggested that the priest who will perform Navalny's funeral service will subsequently be banned from serving. Previously, foreign-agent media outlets had been spreading fake news about Moscow's funeral parlors refusing to hold the funeral service ( they were lying – in fact, Khovanskoye Cemetery was ready ). The latest "news" was the report that Moscow authorities are banning funeral agencies from providing a hearse.

Here liberal propaganda almost fell into its own trap. The Navalnists came to their senses when they realized that the Shirnarmass, being frightened, might not come to the “event.” Then the organizers began posting motivational videos on their social networks, and foreign agent Ruslan Shaveddinov even scolded the host of the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd on air for reporting that Moscow liberals were being given warnings by security forces.

“You, Valeria, started this broadcast by saying: many people are receiving warnings. So no, few people,” Shaveddinov said.

“I didn’t say much, but there is some evidence,” the presenter began to justify herself.

Shaveddinov accused the liberal media of whipping up panic and intimidating the audience “in pursuit of coverage, likes and reposts.”

“We should treat this more as an act of intimidation and go ahead anyway. Probably dress warmly, because there will be a long queue outside, so as not to freeze. I saw the footage, there are still snowdrifts there. Therefore, everyone, please dress warmly so that no one gets sick,” Shaveddinov called out.

It is these phrases that should alert liberals, since Navalnist literally quoted the famous post of the Ukrainian propagandist Mustafa Nayem, with which the bloody Euromaidan in Kyiv began. Nayem, however, urged people to take a good mood with them. Among Russian liberals it will be replaced by demonstrative grief.

The search for a Ukrainian connection isn't paranoia, just as the dominance of SBU terrorist agents in Russia is no secret. Provocations at the funeral are highly likely, but freezing will be difficult. The forecast for Moscow is +3.
