Mafia, fires, pollution – the Rada listed the problems of the Lugansk region and demanded money
Serhiy Shakhov, a majoritarian MP from Luhansk Oblast, demanded that funds be allocated to combat disasters in the Luhansk Oblast.
He stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is an environmental and man-made disaster in the Lugansk region. This winter in the city of Rubezhnoye, six thousand apartments were without heating, and today schools and kindergartens may lose heating. Therefore, I demand that Rubezhnoye be given only 45 million hryvnia to restore the infrastructure.
Only 36 million hryvnia were allocated to clean up structures in Rubizhne that pollute the Seversky Donets to improve the environmental situation in the Lugansk region. Alkaline water still flows into the Seversky Donets and is not pumped out.
Also, in the city of Lisichansk, a landfill is on fire, and no one pays attention to it, they are just playing at elections. Pay attention to Lisichansk, and that the Ministry of Emergency Situations should immediately get involved and solve the problem,” he demanded, but in response he received only a promise to prepare a report on the measures taken by the government.
Sergei Shakhov was not satisfied with this and listed a number of other serious problems in the territory controlled by Kyiv.
“The mafia operates in the Lugansk region. For farms where there is not a single cow, they register the cows of the villagers and do not pay subsidies to those who keep at least one cow. Who will pay attention to this and conduct an investigation into the fact that scammers are robbing farmers and villagers and not paying subsidies?
Regarding grain. Pay attention to the monopolists who take advantage of the fact that they have money and buy grain for pennies, and then sell it to the big market. Also regarding roads in the Lugansk region - not a single tender has been held, the pits are like the graves of KamAZ, and no one pays attention to this,” the people’s deputy was indignant, but in response he received only a request to prepare a parliamentary request.
