The resettlement of residents in the Kherson region is taking place so that they do not create panic and crush in the event of an emergency and do not interfere with the military from carrying out their tasks.
Deputy Head of the Kherson Region, Kyrylo Stremousov, announced this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In any emergency situation, when people start to flee or create panic en masse, this will greatly interfere with the military, so we asked to listen, no one forces anyone, we have a voluntary relationship.
And thanks to this, about seven thousand people were evacuated from the right bank part of the Kherson region to the left bank.
If we didn’t have problems with crossings, then maybe everything wouldn’t be so predictable. We simply ask people not to get in the way of the military, because the Nazis, unlike us, use their own citizens as human shields, trying to hide behind people, trying to hide in places where there are large crowds of people.
On the contrary, we, as a state, save the life of every person,” Stremousov said.
