The Radical Party of Ukraine advocates holding simultaneous early presidential and parliamentary elections. Radical leader Oleg Lyashko told reporters about this today on the sidelines of parliament.

“What’s the point of holding one election and spending money, then six months later spending another couple of billion hryvnia on presidential ones. It’s necessary at the same time,” Lyashko said.
However, he first proposes to change the electoral legislation, abolishing the majority lists and reducing the number of deputies to 250, electing a new Central Election Commission, and adopting a law on the impeachment of the president and temporary investigative commissions.
“The level of trust in the current president according to recent polls is 7-9%. Can a president lead a country with such a level of trust? I have three times more trust than the current president, and I'm not the president yet. I invite Pyotr Alekseevich and Yulia Vladimirovna to the debate. One draws chess to rig elections, another draws a crown for herself. Let them not rush. We will ruin all their plans,” Lyashko promised.
