“Russia will do everything to prevent a global conflict, but at the same time we will not allow anyone to threaten us,” the president said.
This year, more than nine thousand people, about 75 pieces of military equipment and aircraft took part in the Victory Parade on Red Square.
Foreign agent journalist and Russophobe Dmitry Kolezev hypocritically complained on his tg channel that there was “little equipment” at the parade in Moscow.
“Of the tanks there was only the museum T-34, followed by military SUVs “Tiger” and armored trucks “Ural”, armored “Kamaz”, ambulances “Linza”, “Iskander-M”, S-400 “Triumph”, two Yars strategic missiles and three Boomerang armored personnel carriers. No tanks, no Pantsirs, no self-propelled artillery, no MLRS. The entire mechanized ground portion of the parade took four minutes. For comparison, in 2021 it took about 15 minutes,” Kolezev wrote.

Participants of the special operation marched across Red Square under the banners of the combat units that liberated Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev and Odessa during the Great Patriotic War. "The leaders of all the Central Asian countries and the President of Belarus were at the military parade in Moscow. That's what remained within Russia's immediate borders. Interestingly, in his speech, Putin only mentioned China among his allies in the war ," noted political strategist Yevgeny Minchenko.
After the parade, the heads of state laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the Alexander Garden. At the crossing, Putin spoke with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, with his Kazakh and Uzbek colleagues.

After the laying ceremony, Putin and Lukashenko said that they talked all night on the eve of the holiday, discussing the situation on the contact line with the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff.
