“We have 10 thousand 166 unsolved apparent murders, so you understand. The challenges facing the law enforcement system,” said the Prosecutor General.
In August, President Petro Poroshenko said that in Ukraine, in his opinion, the peak of crime had already been overcome. “We cannot yet say that we have reached a radical turning point in the fight against crime in all its manifestations. First of all, those that threaten the life and health of people, the safety and property of citizens... But the good news is that the negative peak of crime, which was caused by the difficult socio-economic situation, the influence of war and at the same time the transformation of the law enforcement system itself, has been overcome.” , Poroshenko said then.
