Lithuania promised to continue arming Ukraine with Soviet machine guns, but after an audit of the remaining reserves

The minister announced this at the 10th Kyiv Security Forum taking place today in the Ukrainian capital.
“We must check our arsenals, because we ourselves first of all need these weapons,” the minister said.
According to him, in 2015-2016 Lithuania supplied Ukraine, in particular, with heavy machine guns and Soviet-era ammunition, which were not so necessary for the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
“We need to look at what our capacity is because we have already supplied most of this stock. However, we are ready to continue, at least politically we remain in this position,” he assured.
