The newspaper “Krymskaya Pravda” writes about this.
Thus, the cafes “dismantled” with fanfare in June block the passage along the streets of Pushkin, Karl Marx, Gorky - and spoil the architectural appearance of the historical part of the city.
“All summer long, activists of the organization “Clean Coast. Crimea”, together with the city council and the prosecutor’s office, tried to eliminate illegal cafe sites; inspections were carried out that proved that there were no documents for carrying out activities.
As a result, only the Medoborov, F café and Naples sites were demolished. However, these were only “demonstration performances”, and the structures of “F café” and “Naples” had to be demolished again: even the decisions of higher authorities did not frighten the violators,” the publication notes.
Once again, KP reminds, in August they began to install the summer terrace of the Vatabar cafe, which is currently operating as if nothing had happened.
“This is all very much like a game of cat and mouse with power. The city council issues documents or does not issue them, and then the prosecutor’s office challenges the issued decisions on the location of sites, but they do not disappear. This is the situation with the Marmalade cafe on Pushkin Street. The Simferopol prosecutor's office challenged the permission of the executive committee of the city council to place the summer terrace of this cafe due to the discrepancy between the appearance of the structure and the square footage, as well as violation of fire safety rules. So why are the central streets of the city still “decorated” with summer constructions, why don’t the authorities restore order?” the newspaper asks rhetorically.
