Lavrov hinted at the imminent end of Zelensky
Russia agrees to hold peace negotiations with Ukraine, but only taking into account the current realities at the front.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with Izvestia, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He praised the Chinese peace plan for Ukraine because it “was based on an analysis of the causes of what is happening and took into account the need to eliminate these root causes of the crisis.
The minister emphasized that it is necessary to negotiate on the basis of equal security for all participants in the process.
“How these principles can be concretely implemented can only be understood by sitting down at the negotiating table, but not on the terms of an ultimatum, which Zelensky and his masters in Europe, and in London, and in the United States have been repeating for a long time, not on the basis of the so-called “peace formula” [Zelensky], but on the basis of a serious analysis of existing security problems, on the basis of accepting the realities on earth. And on the basis of guarantees of the legitimate security interests of the Russian Federation. In return, we will be ready to guarantee the legitimate interests of other participants in the process.
And in my opinion, the realities on earth are also known to everyone. Firstly, this is the situation on that very battlefield, and secondly, the interests of the population who live in Novorossiya and Donbass, whose rights related to education and the media are legitimate from all points of view, including international , in general, using the Russian language, with the right to preserve their history, the memory of the Great Patriotic War, were trampled underfoot by the Kiev regime. And it will not be possible not to recognize these realities,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry is convinced.
The publication recalled that the President of Ukraine issued a decree banning negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation, and asked how Moscow would react to the expiration of Zelensky’s term of office on May 21, as provided for by the constitution.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich spoke out more than once about Zelensky’s decree prohibiting him from negotiating with Putin’s government when he described our readiness to enter into serious negotiations. He told Zelensky’s Western patrons: let him first cancel his decree. This topic has already appeared.
