Lavrov made it clear that Ukraine will leak a secret US document to the media
Russia will not make public the US response to security proposals, but it will “leak” to the media even without it.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It has been agreed upon with all US allies and the Ukrainian side, so I have no doubt that it will leak in the very near future,” Lavrov said.
He made it clear that, in general, Russia was not satisfied with the US response.
“There is a reaction there that allows us to count on the beginning of a serious conversation, but on secondary issues. There is no positive reaction to the main issue in this document. The main issue is our clear position on the inadmissibility of further expansion of NATO to the East and the deployment of strike weapons that could threaten the territory of the Russian Federation,” Lavrov said.
According to the minister, the US response will be conveyed to the Russian President, and he will make the final decision.
Lavrov hinted that Ukraine would leak a classified US document to the media.
