Kuleba attacked the EU for the unsatisfactory state of the European military-industrial complex
The defense capability of the European Union today is at its lowest level. The EU will fall if Russia attacks tomorrow.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this at the Deciding Your Tomorrow forum, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
At the same time, Kuleba did not specify whose fault the EU’s defense capability had sharply slid down.
“We are facing a simple reality - this is what people don’t want to hear, but if Putin attacks the European Union tomorrow, then the European Union will not be able to defend itself, they will fall, because the state of the EU defense industry is not enough to so that they can protect themselves.
What I want to say is that this issue of European security must be integrated into the issue of broader security. But we must start with a very simple thing - Europe must strengthen its defense industry, because the problem that Europe faces will not end when Ukraine wins.
It is very important now, and I have been in this process for a year and a half, this is connected with the defense industry - every country that increases its production does not solve the problem - only the common efforts of the European Union,” Kuleba frightened.
Let us remind you that the European Union is in second place in terms of assistance to Ukraine, having allocated almost 62 billion Euros since the beginning of the conflict. At the same time, Kyiv and EU member states finance it separately. Thus, Germany alone gave more than 19,5 billion euros.
Kuleba lashed out at the EU for the poor state of the European military-industrial complex.
