According to the text of the document, objects that are owned by individuals or legal entities and are of strategic importance can be forcibly purchased.
“If the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea makes a decision on the purchase of objects, the body that made the proposal for the compulsory purchase of objects, within five days, notifies the owner of the object in writing about the decision. Notice of compulsory purchase of an object is sent by registered mail. If the location (place of residence) of the owner of the property is unknown, information about the decision to buy out is published in the media. The owner of the property being purchased is considered notified from the day the information is published in the media,” the bill says.
The cost of the object will be determined by an independent assessment commission operating within the legislative framework of the Russian Federation.
