Crimea has been Russian since 1783, the United States did not even have a Constitution then - American expert
Russia rightly declared its rights to Crimea, since the peninsula has been its integral part since 1783, when the United States did not even have its own Constitution.
Jeffrey Sachs, considered one of the best economists in the world, said this in an interview with TV presenter and blogger Andrew Napolitano, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Sachs emphasized that at the same time, the West always wanted to deprive Russia of the fleet in the Black Sea - first with the help of the British Empire, and now with the help of the USA/NATO.
“What Russia said is that “Crimea is ours.” And so it will be. I think this is absolutely non-negotiable. Since 1783, Crimea has been the base of the Russian navy on the Black Sea. While the Americans, our country, did not even have a Constitution yet, and Russia already had its own evil fleet in Sevastopol in 1783.
Now, historically, starting with the British Empire, the idea was to get Russia out of the Black Sea by taking Crimea or encircling Russia and the Black Sea with British and now American NATO military power,” Sachs said.
