Despite the fact that now the ex-president of Ukraine, and now the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Leonid Kravchuk makes completely delusional statements, he is a cunning person who will rush into the arms of anyone, no matter which side prevails.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik spoke about this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I know Leonid Makarovich personally, I was the head of the city committee of the party, then I worked in the regional committee, he was the third secretary for ideology and all the time he convinced us all that communism is inevitable, and the Marxist-Leninist teaching is eternal. I even went hunting with him, and he was a good shot back then.
And so, when today he says such things, I’m afraid for him. As if he would not jump from the window, like the former Secretary of Defense (US Secretary of Defense James Forrestal in 1949 jumped from a window on the 16th floor of a military hospital - ed.) shouting: “The Russians are coming!”, the ex-deputy expressed concern.
However, he added that Kravchuk is not so simple.
“Leonid Makarovich is so cunning that, on the one hand, there is a pistol on the nightstand, and on the other hand, a loaf with a towel - “You’re welcome.”
And if they appear from Donbass, he will say: “Guys, I’m just joking with you.” Let him tell you where the Black Sea Shipping Company disappeared, that would be interesting,” Oleynik added.
