Kyiv, August 14 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross managed to establish contact with the Russian humanitarian convoy, which is heading to the Ukrainian border.

At the time of contact, trucks with humanitarian aid were in the Rostov region, according to a message on the official Twitter account of the Red Cross.

The organization also intends to discuss the humanitarian cargo that is being delivered to Donbass by the Ukrainian side, according to a message on the Twitter account of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

“We were informed that the Ukrainian humanitarian convoy is heading east. We will discuss with Ukraine how this operation will be carried out,” representatives of the organization wrote.

As Navigator reported, earlier information appeared in the media that the Russian humanitarian convoy was located near the city of Donetsk, Rostov region, not far from the Izvarino checkpoint.
