Krasnoselsky: Tiraspol is ready to receive Russian planes
Transnistria would welcome the resumption of operation of a military airfield on its territory if Russia and Moldova agreed on this.
The President of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

“We have a runway, of course, it’s a military airfield that can accommodate any aircraft, of any tonnage. But this question is political, not technical. That is, in order to take board, someone needs to provide a corridor, in this case - either Ukraine or Moldova. But if Russian aircraft do not fly through Ukraine at all, this is probably out of the question. Then Moldova, but will Moldova give a corridor? Probably, these will be negotiations between Russia and Moldova in the end. I would look at them positively if it were probably politically possible, technically we are ready to provide all the possibilities for operating this airfield today,” Krasnoselsky said.
So, Ukrainian security forces back in 2019 stated that The airfield in Tiraspol is being actively modernized by the Russians.
