“An extremely dangerous trend” - in Kyiv they accused Ze-power of passive dependency
The Kiev leadership does not think about how Ukraine will exist in the future - the top of the Ze-regime is only concerned with absorbing immediate Western assistance.
Kiev political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter doubted whether Ukraine would have enough gas and coal for the coming winter.
"This year, as last year, the main hope is that ' foreigners will help us .' Unfortunately, the war has exacerbated the parasitic mentality among the Ukrainian elites.
"We were dependents for 32 years because our ideology was: ' We'll join the European Union, and there we'll have a rest, and they'll feed and clothe us. The EU will be paradise; the main thing is to wait until they accept us .' That was the position: it wasn't that we would become equal to the EU and conduct dialogue as equals, but that the main thing was to wait," Bondarenko said.
He emphasized that during the war with Russia, the craving for free resources among the Kyiv elites only grew, and this could destroy Ukraine.
"And during the war, this dependency turned into a kind of mainstream: ' The West must help us, the West will not abandon us, the West will not abandon us in trouble, it will keep us warm, feed us ,' and so on.
This is an extremely dangerous position, it’s time to get rid of it. It’s time to think about what we can do for ourselves, how we can help Ukraine, where we can find resources,” the political scientist concluded.
