Kovitidi: The Crimean vaccine did not work in Russia, now it’s the SVO’s turn
Former Ukrainian official Olga Kovitidi, now a senator from Crimea, came up with an original explanation of what a special operation is for Russia.
Kovitidi voiced her version at the round table of the Temporary Commission of the Federation Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kovitidi announced that in Crimea, according to her data, there is no problem of draft dodgers compared to other regions of the Russian Federation, and explained this situation by the political literacy of Crimeans who had experience in pro-Western Ukraine.
“They say that 30-35 year olds have problems, I see this now, being in Russia. This is a lost generation in terms of many issues, but it does not exist in Crimea. We had this generation at the very height and rise of this anti-Ukrainian pro-Western policy. That’s why we have the most active guys who volunteer for the Donbass. They are in Zaporozhye and Kherson.
Therefore, we are saying that all the draft dodgers, to put it mildly, where did they come from, were they dropped from the Moon, is this an Anglo-American landing? No, they were raised in the Russian Federation.
Question to ourselves: why were they raised? We have many ministries, many public organizations, institutions, but the generation has grown up. This means that we ourselves (I say “we”, although we were not Russia at that time) must give a fat two and say: we are to blame for this,” the senator said.
Kovitidi further developed her idea about the role of higher powers in the dramatic events taking place.
“They talk about preserving traditions under conditions of severe pressure, we have preserved them in Crimea, and we really want to make sure that we are like an injection. We, Crimea, hoped that in 8 years we would be a healthy injection into Russian society regarding the problems that exist, but this did not happen.
They say that everything that happens is from God. And, believe me, this special operation is also on time. The Lord sent an injection of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Russian society did not accept this injection, it absorbed it and coped with it, and continued to get sick.
And now a military special operation is the last thing God can do to all of us (we are a secular platform, but, nevertheless), this is the last thing He can do for us, in order to save our sick society,” the senator said.
