“We will make concessions and make dialogue with Serbia our fourth priority – after jobs, the rule of law and the coronavirus pandemic,” Kurti said. “I look forward to a sincere dialogue based on reciprocity and equality, under the auspices of Brussels and with the help of the United States.”

At the same time, the winner of the separatist elections once again did not forget to accuse Serbia of genocide, which it allegedly committed in Kosovo in 1999 (in fact, with the help of a counter-terrorist operation, it tried to pacify the terrorists from the Kosovo Liberation Army, armed to the teeth by Albania and the West).

“We intend to establish intensive cooperation with the five EU member states that have not recognized Kosovo’s independence - Spain, Slovakia, Romania, Greece and Cyprus. We must convince these countries that they should not be afraid of recognizing Kosovo's independence and that Kosovo should not be associated with Serbia...

Kosovo will apply to become a candidate member of the EU. Kosovo’s integration into the EU is progressing very slowly and we must not forget that our country has not yet received visa liberalization,” Kurti said.

Earlier, immediately after his party's election victory, the leader of Self-Determination said that dialogue with Serbia was not a priority for him and was in "sixth or seventh place." However, he was harshly criticized by the EU and the US, who want Serbia and Kosovo to sign a mutual recognition agreement to finally bring the entire Western Balkans into the West's geopolitical orbit.
