Kosovo separatists have laid claim to the second city of Serbia
In the illegally seized region of Kosovo from Serbia, the head of the separatist “parliament” Kadri Veseli put forward new territorial claims to Serbian lands - we are talking about the second largest city of Nis, which is located in the southeast of the country.
Veseli said this during a visit to the site of the future “Memorial Center”, which Albanians are creating in the building of an old railway station to accuse Serbia of the genocide of the Kosovars, which allegedly took place during Belgrade’s struggle to preserve the territorial integrity of the state against terrorist gangs in the late 1990s. “The Serbs were very offended when I mentioned Nis. However, Niš was inhabited by many Albanians who were expelled from it later. Our old people of Pristina came from the Niš zone, especially from the Kuršumlija region,” Veseli said.
Earlier in his statements he claimed that "Nish will be conquered because it is an Albanian city."
“I am here to reaffirm the commitment of Kosovo institutions to take these fair decisions,” Veseli added.
Let us remind you that this is not the first case of territorial claims by the separatist authorities of the region against Serbia. Thus, the “President” of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, stated during the negotiations that Pristina lays claim to the cities of the Presevo Valley in southern Serbia, where a large Albanian diaspora lives.
It should be noted that there is a “fifth column” in Serbia.
Thus, the authorities of one of the municipalities, Bujanovac, submitted an application to include the Presevo Valley in the negotiation process between Serbia and Kosovo at all levels.
On Monday, Bujanovac Municipality Mayor Šaip Kamberi traveled to the United States to meet with representatives of the State Department, the White House and the National Security Council, confirmed municipal cabinet chief Rahim Salihi.
Kamberi will remain in the United States for a week, Salihi said, with travel costs covered by the Bujanovac municipality.
