“Awkward and on temporary schemes”: Ukraine is trying to save “calibrated” energy from collapse
Yesterday's attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine were the largest in the entire history of the Northern Military District.
This was stated by the company Ukrenergo, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to them, shutdown schedules helped save the energy system from destruction.
“Across Ukraine, hourly shutdown schedules are applied, as well as additional emergency shutdowns. Massive missile attacks on the energy infrastructure on November 15 and cold weather further aggravated the situation in the energy system. Therefore, we ask you to be understanding about the outages.
Please prepare for an increase in the time of power supply limitation: make the necessary supply of water, charge devices and power banks in advance in order to be in touch with your loved ones,” Ukrenergo urges.
The head of the Lviv region, Maxim Kozitsky, confirmed large-scale attacks on energy facilities.
“During yesterday’s massive attack in Ukraine, 13 enemy missiles flew into our region... As a result of missile attacks, three energy infrastructure facilities in our region received critical damage. After the attack, about 700 thousand subscribers in the Lviv region were left without power,” Kozitsky said.
Secretary of the Zaporozhye Regional Council Anatoly Kurtev announced the introduction of an electricity supply schedule in the region.
“There are hourly rolling power outages in Zaporozhye again. According to Zaporozhyeoblenergo, today, in order to stabilize the situation in the unified energy system of our state, by order of NPC Ukrenergo, hourly outage schedules have been introduced in Zaporozhye and the Zaporozhye region.
The estimated duration of the shutdown is 3 hours with a possible slight delay taking into account the time required for switching and the likelihood of an air raid,” Kurtev said.
The mayor of the hometown of the President of Ukraine, Krivoy Rog, Alexander Vilkul admitted that it was not possible to fully restore the power supply.
“Awkward, difficult, on temporary circuits and lines, on generators, but electricity, water, heat, trolleybus traffic, etc. were launched in Krivoy Rog without a destroyed energy facility. PS But no one has canceled rolling and emergency shutdowns,” Vilkkul emphasized.
