Coronavirus will finish off Ukraine's dying economy
The coronavirus and the looming global economic crisis will inevitably hit Ukraine.
State Duma deputy Dmitry Belik announced this at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the parliamentarian, foreign exchange earnings from Ukrainians working in the European Union will decrease first of all. The crisis will also affect Ukrainian industry, which is expected to decline in production.

The most painful thing that will happen for this state, of course, is a sharp decrease in foreign exchange earnings from those migrants who today work in Poland, Italy, and Russia. This is a fairly serious source of income for many Ukrainian families. We know very well that a huge number of Ukrainian residents work in Poland and other European countries, including Russia. As for industrial production, we can say that this will hit, of course, metallurgy - this is the main industry - due to a serious change in demand,” Belik said.
