Coronavirus crisis may survive Zelensky - expert
The Ukrainian economy will take at least three to five years to recover from the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Economic expert Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on air on TV channel 112, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, the crisis that erupted in the last couple of months dealt a stronger blow than the one that occurred after Euromaidan.
“It’s very easy to answer the question of how much is needed to restore the economy. We take the performance indicators for the month of April in industry, agriculture, trade, construction and compare what happened with other periods.
Approximately, at best, three years, at worst, five years, no less. Because the blow we received is even more difficult than it was in 14-15. And you yourself understand that the crisis of 14-15 was exhaled in 2018-2019. So – no less,” concluded Okhrimenko.
