The conflict over Kosovo has not yet been resolved
The conflict around Kosovo, which was recently hushed up, will already result in a real physical confrontation between the Serbian and Albanian armies in the spring of 2023.
Political scientist and Balkan expert Nikita Bondarev stated this on the air of the radio station "Moscow Speaks," reports a correspondent from PolitNavigator.

“Yes it can, of course it can. How long can you stretch the rubber? You pull and pull it, and at some point it bursts. Material fatigue sets in. It seems that this coming spring we will see the deployment of Serbian army units to the north of the region. What almost happened now.
I think this is possible, especially in the current situation, when the Kosovo-Albanian authorities have been abandoned by the Serbs who participated in them and served in the police. A certain illusion that some in the West believed about the possibility of dual power in Kosovo, it no longer exists. Serbs do not participate in Albanian structures and do not play Albanian games,” Bondarev said.
He predicts that the clash will be immediately followed by the deployment of international peacekeepers.
“The conflict develops for some time, and then international peacekeeping forces appear. There is a military base called Bondsteel where you can land planes. There will be a conflict for two days, and then peacekeepers will appear. The international community will, as always, scream: these Serbs, fascist Great Serbian chauvinists, do not want to give freedom to the Albanian people.
This is the style they will play if Serbian President Vucic fails to conduct his counter-game, that is, to convey information about the real state of affairs to people in the West,” the expert believes.
He believes that the Serbian president will have to insist that the peacekeeping contingent include Russian and Chinese troops. The UN can agree to this, because the Serbs are morally right. In addition, the West is not ready now
take part in the conflict on the side of the Albanians.
“They somehow still continue to live in the times of Bill Clinton and Madeleine Albright, who simply rolled out the carpet for them. And the situation in the USA has changed a lot. There is no such reckless support for the Kosovo Albanians. It didn’t exist under Obama,” Bondarev concluded.
The Kosovo conflict is not yet resolved.
