The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been declared eternal - only one will win
Russia will always strive to restore its influence in the post-Soviet space, so its conflict with Ukraine cannot be resolved; it will continue until the complete victory of one of the parties.
This was stated on the InterVizor channel by Oleksiy Arestovich, whom Ukrainian media call a military expert, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are competing with Russia for the heritage of Kievan Rus. It's like Arabs and Jews for the Temple Mount. And we are for the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This is an unresolvable, existential conflict. This is a primordial blood-soil relationship, who will make alaverdi to whom. These things are not regulated.
I know some Russians, they are the role model of the paratroopers at the fountain. They must win and destroy, regardless of losses. Do you know how Russians perceive the surrounding reality? They believe that they are a great nation that made a great revolution, industrialization, won a terrible war, recovered, and was the first to go into space. And then they were deceived, and even to such an extent that they personally deceived all the citizens, wiped out their savings, threw them into poverty, and gave away all their geopolitical achievements. And then they promised not to expand NATO and did. And then they took it and interfered with the family, they consider us one people, and they also took Ukraine.
They have a nuclear umbrella, enormous resources, enormous influence in the world, in Europe. And they consider the collapse of the USSR to be the main geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century.
What would you do in such a situation? Do you have pain, and do you have all the resources to overcome this “hurt”? It is clear that you would be engaged in restoring the status quo. They got busy. And they will not calm down,” Arestovich said.
