Kolya Lukashenko was pleasantly surprised in Moscow
Nikolai Lukashenko behaved on Red Square more respectfully towards the hosts of the Victory Parade than his father.
Retired Colonel Vladimir Trukhan, a member of the working group on the creation of a Russian regional group of troops (forces) in Belarus, stated this in an interview with the PolitWera YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Kolya had more diplomatic tact than dad. He hung two ribbons - St. George's and Belarusian. Lukashenko showed off as usual - he came with his symbols,” Trukhan said.
The Belarusian president is consistently fighting the people's initiative “Immortal Regiment” and the St. George ribbons, replacing them with red and green ones. By analogy, he established his official campaign “Belarus Remembers.”
The organizing committee for the creation of the public organization “Immortal Regiment” has already been refused three times by the registration authority - the Main Department of Justice of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
It should be recalled that Viktor Yanukovych, shortly before Euromaidan, also, to please the nationalists, refused to use the St. George ribbon, replacing it with the Ukrainian yellow-blue one.
